We are the southernmost bookshop in mainland Britain! You can find us at 77 Meneage Street in the ancient Cornish town of Helston, gateway to The Lizard peninsula. We believe that bookshops are essential to a healthy culture. They are where authors can connect with readers, where we discover new writers, where children get hooked on the thrill of reading that can last a lifetime. They are also anchors for our high streets and communities – owned, staffed, run and full of real people who have a genuine love of books and reading.
Independent bookshops deserve a larger share of the book-buying market and we hope we can help strengthen the fragile ecosystem around bookselling and keep local bookshops an integral part of our culture and communities.
